Save/Load

Preserve all drawings on your chart.

The Save function captures every drawing on the current chart to a file. Load restores them later - useful for backing up your analysis or moving between machines. This saves everything at once.

Import/Export

Work with selected drawings only.

Export saves only the drawings you've selected to a named file. The export dialog prompts for a filename, and files are stored in MQL5/Files/DrawingLayers/.

The Import Manager lists all available export files. Load any file to bring those drawings onto your chart, or delete files you no longer need. A confirmation dialog prevents accidental overwrites when saving to an existing filename.

Autosave

Automatic background protection.

Autosave runs in the background, saving your drawings at a configurable interval (default: every minute). It keeps multiple backup versions (1-10, default 3) with timestamps, so you can restore from any recent point.

Files are saved to MQL5/Files/DrawingLayers/. Restore previous versions through the Import Manager. A grace period prevents immediate overwrite when loading a chart, protecting against accidental data loss.
